Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Mash the bananas. Set aside.
Using an electric mixer cream together the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs, mixing them in one at a time.
Add the vanilla, mix until smooth.
In a separate bowl whisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Slowly add the oat/flour mix to the peanut butter mixture, mixing on low until combined.
Add in the mashed bananas.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes.
Add the batter to the prepared baking pan.
Sprinkle the top with extra chocolate chips if you like.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Let the bars cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before you cut into them.
Then cut into 24 bars.
