Easy Stewed Strawberries and Rhubarb

This 4 ingredient Stewed Strawberries and Rhubarb is simple and so delicious! Have a batch ready in less than 30 minutes. Enjoy with ice cream, scones, yogurt, cake and more!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups chopped rhubarb
  • 3 cups chopped strawberries
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Cut the strawberries and rhubarb into small pieces.
  • In a large saucepan combine the chopped strawberries, rhubarb, sugar, and water.

  • Simmer over low-medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until all of the sugar has dissolved and the fruit has broken down. You can use a masher or fork to break down the fruit.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
