3boneless, skinless chicken breasts(sliced horizontally to make 6 cutlets)
1/4tspground black pepper
1/2cupmayonnaise
1/2cupsour cream
3/4cupgrated Parmesan cheese
2tbspranch seasoning mix
1/4tspdried minced garlic
fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut the 3 chicken breasts in half horizontally to make 6 chicken cutlets. Arrange the cutlets in a single layer in a 9x13 oven safe baking dish. Season with black pepper.3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
In a bowl mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning, salt, and minced garlic until smooth.1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix, 1/4 tsp dried minced garlic
Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the chicken, then bake for 25 - 30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling and the top is golden brown.
If you find the sauce too runny for your liking, here are some tips to make it more thick.Option 1: You can leave it as is. The sauce is really good, even runny...it's buttery and flavourful which is perfect on rice.Option 2: You can stir in about a 1/4 cup sour cream into the sauce at the bottom of the dish.Option 3: If you notice after about 20 minutes that the sauce is runny, create a 1:1 cornstarch (or flour) to water mixture (1 tbsp cornstarch or flour, and 1 tbsp water), then stir it into the sauce. Continue baking.
Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh dill if you like. Serve with rice and a green veggie.
